No speedo,tach,shift indicator

Can anyone help me here? my shift indicator does not light up, no message center, tach dont work or the speedo on my 2002 1500 2wd. Has a 5.3 liter in it.

I'm not sure about your year truck, but see if you have voltage at the trans fuse, in the OBS trucks your problems usually indicated a bad ignition switch. Actually a TSB indicates Igniton 0 fuse may not have power with key on. Does the vehicle shift gears? If it doesn't it's probably the switch

On your truck check the Ignition fuse, should be in the interior fuse panel. I don't really know what to say, I can't imagine it being the ignition switch with the trans still shifting

Tried to write you back yesterday but my puter was acting up.

All the fuses seem to be getting power ok. Talked to a mech. out of El paso and he said to check the ground wires on the frame below the drivers door but that also was not the problem. Will have to call him back. Will keep everyone updated on this problem.

I also have another 2002 that the headlights stay on all the time. Supposed to be automatic but in the middle of the day there on. Dome light also does not work.

Hmmm.. Had the same deal on the wife's Av, I just had them replace the instrument cluster. At no $$ to me of course...

I noticed the same problems after I removed the 15 amp radio fuse from the electrical center under the hood. Which also killed the radio and clock display.
