Blind Spot

Has anyone noticed that there is a blind spot at the A pillar with Ventvisors installed. I am having a heck of a time seeing around corners when making turns. The A pillar is so wide to begin with, and then adding the VentVisors even made it worse. Add in the tinted windows and it makes it real tough at night time to see anything rounding a dark corner. I love the VentVisors, so I guess there is no solution. I wonder what it will be like when I get my gauge pods installed there also. Might have to drive with the driver's side window down at night just to see anything.

I don't have any problems, but I'm running factory tint on my windows.  Maybe I'm just used to them because I've had them on my vehicles for quite a few years.

I've always had tinting on my vehicles, but this is the first one with VentVisors too. Never had a problem with seeing around corners with the tint. I guess the visors take some getting used to.

I've started having trouble seeing at night lately, but I call it GETTING OLD! :D

You might be right about that too. Guess I'm having my mid-life crisis buying this truck at my age, and hopping it up like a teenager would. Maybe I should have got a nice used Oldsmobile instead. LOL!   :)

Nice looking rig!  Question:  Where did you get those Catch all floor mats?

I have been using a cheap rubber backed throw rug - you now the type like you MOM used in front of the back door in Winter?  :D

They work OK, (color selection and co-ordination sucks)but they do slide around and even wad up some, especially passengers.

Thanks. I got them from StylinConcepts.com. Here's the link...

They weren't cheap, but I love them. They have three snap-type fasteners that hold them to the carpet. They don't slide around at all, and match the factory carpet almost perfectly. Think I paid about $80 for the set. Only problem I had was they didn't send me the fasteners with the mats. I emailed them about it, and they sent me a whole bag of them! WAAAAY more than I needed, so if you get them and they don't come with the fasteners, let me know. I'll send you some of these extras I have.

Ya, I noticed that. Why aren't there more red trucks out there? Somebody got a problem with red? I've owned other red vehicles before, so I guess I'm partial to the color. Nothing like a sporty red ..."anything" IMO. Truck, car, mini-skirt, whatever. Know what I mean, Vern? Maybe you married guys aren't allowed to own red trucks. Is that it? ...."oh honey, not the red one. It looks too fast! you might scare the kids. and all the other girls are staring at you. Let's get the brown truck with the four doors."  LOL!!!!   :D  :)

Sorry about that, I couldn't resist. No offense to you married guys. Guess I'm still wound up from last night's parties. And we ARE getting a little off topic in this thread too, so let's move on. I was bored when I started this topic anyhow, and I don't have much choice, but to live with the blind spot anyhow, so it's no biggie. If you want to talk more about the color red and it's virtues, let's start a new thread, so others can get in on it too, huh?

Thanks for the link and info!  I'll check these out - sure looks like it would beat what I have.

Also appreciate the offer of snaps - I'll let you know if I need them.
