Im ready for the first oil change on the new truck. And went today to get the stuff but found that the only oil filters checkers sells are FRAM; forget that s#$t no way will i run a fram on this truck. I want to run Mobil 1 oil and filter; found the oil 5W30 synthetic blend but couldnt find the filter to match. If anybody's got any info please let me know. Thanks

Auto Zone sells Mobil 1 Filters here in PA, Advance Auto sells Purolator and Federated Auto stores sell Baldwin Filters and Hastings filters. Or you can see your friendly Amsoil dealer for Amsoil Filters. Also, Wal Mart sells SOME Motorcraft Extra Life filters. All good options in my opinion.

I lived in an apartment until last month, and had no where to change my own oil...now that I live in a house, I can....anyway, I bought a napa oil filter from the local NAPA store....are they any good or should I buy something else. I don't want to use FRAM, I used them on my blazer and every single one of them always had "seepage" no matter how carefully I put it on. I used bosche on it, but Icouldn'f find them here. anyway....are NAPA filters anygood?

tmf6902 raises a good point-

where do those of you in apartments go to get your oil changed?

Any recommendations for the best places to go? I've been heading over to the valvoline place close to my apartments. any national chain have some of the better oils/filters available?
