Instrument Cluster Question...

Okay I have a 2004 Bravada and some idiot tried to break into my car and steal it, and they did a number on the steering column, and the instrument cluster. Now my insurance will pay for a new cluster from the factory and I noticed that the 2005 Trailblazers have these white faced intrument clusters that look really good.

 

Would I be able to use the 05 Trailblazer Cluster in my 04 Bravada? Is it just plug and play?

I would say yes, but a GM tech could verify for you. The instrument clusters in the full size Chevys, GMCs and Caddy Escalade will interchange in their series, and the appearance of the TB and Bravada seem the same. You could put a NR white face overlay on if you can't get a TB cluster from the dealer.

I spoke to me dealer and he told me that I would have to add some extra circutry and whatnot, but that seems like bulls**t to me. The Trailblazer/Envoy/Bravada/Ranier are all very similar with only minor drivetrain, and mostly cosmetic differences.

Yeah they do only for certain vehicles, which sucks.

 

Speedometer faces have MPH/KPH numbers - Toyota Supra, Honda Civic ('92-'95), Acura Integra '94+, Porsche 911/930, 964 and 993 are all available with either MPH or KPH only speedometer faces. Please specify your preference when ordering.

 

*International Orders: All gauge faces are in MPH/KPH where the MPH is on the outer side (Large) and KPH is inside (small). We do not have a reversed version. KPH ONLY speedometers are available for Acura Integra '94+, Honda Civic '92-'95, and Porsche 911 '77-'89. We do not make KPH only for any other gauge faces.

Just looked at my Envoy NR face, the MPH is on the outer side (Large) and KPH is inside (small).

Yeah I saw that they have both, but would like to have the KM/H larger then the MPH like my stock ones. Oh well I guess I have no choice if I can't get the cluster I want.
