Where for lowest price on Amsoil?

So after years of using Mobil-1, I'm thinking about trying a case of Amsoil (still would be getting the oil changed between 3 and 5 thousand miles).

Does anyone know of any sites that sells Amsoil at a low price (The price is what scares me since Amsoil is normally about $1.50 to 3 dollars more a qt than Mobil-1).

I checked into Amsoil a few years back, if I recall correctly the cheapest way is to become one of their distributors. They are kinda like Amway, in that you become a distributor and buy the products for yourself or sell them to others, but if you recruit another guy to be a dealer you get a little comission when he sells too. Amsoil did not seem pushy like Amway and the good thing is that these are products that you actually want to use.

I think there are one or two guys around the Forum who sell it, maybe they can clarify for us.

I looked into it, but haven't committed yet. You can get all Amsoil's products off their website, but for $20 a year, you can get everything at 'wholesale' prices, or for $50 a year, you can become a dealer, where you can sell the stuff and get your pyramid built up underneath you, so you get rich off other peoples' sales. What a country!

You can become an Amsoil "prefered customer" for $20 a year as someone has previously stated. This gives you all of their products at "dealer" pricing. I have been doing this for about a year now and can't say enough about the company. They are not pushy at all and their customer service is excellent. Usually when I place an order it is on my doorstep the next day.

You could also try to find a dealer to go through, but by the time they add their markup and shipping, your better off becoming a prefered customer. The way they put it is that if you are going to spend over $100 a year with them, then it is worth the $20 to be a prefered customer.
