TSB On My Truck Already

I took her in this morning for that rattling I thought was a heat shield.

 

They said the exhaust was rubbing against the frame and they also had to repostion the fuel line, said they issued a TSB on it. He said after they did everything the noise seems to be gone. The work order only shows reposition fuel lines, I hope to heck that isn't what was making all that noise. I was on my phone so I never really had a chance to listen and see if the noise is gone.

 

I also talked with my salesman because I still haven't received my new registration. Turns out my old plate never was registered to my new truck, guess it's a good thing I haven't been pulled over He said he received a license plate and registration for me and couldn't figure out why since we transferred the old plate, thought it was a mistake. Have a new plate and an old plate now.

 

I still have to go back and for a plastic trim piece that is missing on the inside of my door, it covers a screw head.

 

Tuesday night GM Engineering Division called me. Asked me what I thought of the 2005, any problems or concerns.

 

Told them about the rattle, and of course the stuff they heard about a hundred times, rain when the window is down and the wind noise when it's up.

 

Does anybody know where to go to find TSB's on the 2005's? Alldata only goes up to 2004. Maybe it's too new for the TSB's to be posted.

You can click on this sight NHTSA and get basic info on all available TSB's for your '05 and pretty much any model and year....

45 TSB's is nothin! I was playin around on that sight and found 53 for the '04 F*RD......ALL MAKES and MODELS will have a some, the trick is to get them to admit to some of them...

Citydriver you are too funny. I guess I didn't expect to see that many considering the truck just came out a couple of months ago. What's with all the surveys? Now I have a survey from JD Powers on my truck.

 

 

I'm going to get busy and start decorating. Must find some holiday spirit!
