Advice on running boards?

Can anyone suggest the best fitting / looking brands of running board for a 4 door 95 Tahoe? I was leaning toward the "nerf bar" style as opposed to the flat style, I liked the look better. But which is better functionally? I am interested in ease of entry / exit. Thanks. Mike

If you want Nerf Bars then I'd strongly suggest the Westin CPS series.  They are "C"hrome "P"lated "S"tainless.  I had them on my last truck and they are a pretty serious contender for my HD.

 

The advantages of the "nerf" style is that if you live in the "north" then slush and dirt won't accumulate there like it does on a running board.

 

The other two types I'm considering for my truck are the Stull stainless boards (very expensive) and the new DrawTite oval stepbars (stainless), but I've had a hard time finding more info on them.

 

The Westin CPS are definatly the nicest bars out there IMO, if you want the Nerf bar look.  (chrome shine over stainless means no rust and no polishing).
