Just traded my 00 for an 02. I had done the EGR tube mod to my 00. Couldn't believe my eyes after I got the 02 home, this truck does not have an EGR system. There is a blockoff plate on the intake where the EGR tube would connect and the exhaust has no provisions for a connection. Since this would eliminate a heat source to the intake system there must be some reprogramming. My new ride is a 5.3 with a 3.73 locking rear 2WD. Anyone know of other 02 changes, especially to the 5.3.
