Comapss Mirror

O.K. guys, I finally installed my Compass/Temp mirror in my 1999 1500 chevy [new body style].

Works great!!!....it is the New style mirror that has both readings on the front.

Well I have an extra Temp Probe sensor I bought from the dealership that I do not need. When I first installed it, I thought my temp prove was bad becasuse it read 30 degrees too low, then it would go erratic. So I bought another tmep probe....The same thing happended again !!!. Turns out after talking to the dealer he showed me how to do an Auto-Calibration on it that they are pre-equipped with. Hol the compass button down for 3 seconds....Zone will appear, that is to adjust the compass zone where you live....continue to hold it down for three more seconds [6 total]...and CAL will appear in the mirror, the mirror will do an auto-calibration on the temp probe and compass.....after 10 minutes, you then have to drive the vehicle in a circle 5 times to fully calibrate it....I know, this was very tedious, but then I was thru, It worked great!!!!....Now I have the nifty little gizmo like my Wife's Tahoe does!!!.....comes in very handy for us [so called LOST Males!]....hee-heee....thats what my wife says!...

Here is the part number of the probe: GM  09152245, the manufacturer of it is SIEMENS. It is called an Outside Ambient Temperature sensor. I paid 19.00 for it at the dealer, it is yours for only $ 8.00 includes shipping. And I do accept PayPal.

As with the dealer, There are no refunds or exchanges. This is bought as-is.
