changing over to synthetic

my plan tomorrow is to change oils on: my truck (1500, 4.8, 2004), my moms suburban (z71 5.3, 2003), and my 93 camaro (z28 5.7).

since i barely hit 3500 with my truck, i was wondering if its okay to use synthetic motor oil. or does that not matter at all? im planning to use the mobil 1. and how many quarts does it take? i couldnt find that one the owners manual.

for my moms truck, does running synthetic mess with anything cuase its 4x4? i have seen some motor oil that are pecifically for 4x4 vehicles. if its okay to run synthetic, how many quarts does it take?

as for my camaro, it has around 97,xxx miles on it and im still running synthetic. i was wondering if i should switch back. there are no noticible leaks in the gasket or anything but if it is left parked for awhile, it starts leaking. last time i checked, it takes 5 quarts right?

thanks.

The amount of fluids dhould be towards the back of the manual, my 03 with the 5.3 holds 6 qts.

Synthetic is as good choice for all of them. I have an '02 Sierra w/a 5.3L and run Amsoil. As for the 4x4 oil all it is is an additives package, nothing special. A 5.3L is the same from 4x4 to 2x4. If you run a good full synthetic you should have no problems.
