Orginal tire size on 3500

I have a '96 3500 Crew cab Chevy and I'm upgrading to bigger tires...

Where I live, I'm able to fit tires, that are only 2" bigger in diameter than original tire size.

 

My question is... what is the biggest tire size that has been available (as OE) from factory for my truck?

Only size available in 96 for a 3500 crew cab was LT/245/75R-16E

 

Lots of dif tire treads (mud snow, all season etc) but only one size from the factory.

Is it a dually or single rear wheel?

It is single rear wheel...

Builderpaul is right, single rear wheel had LT245/75R16E. Duallys have 225/75R16E, and some had 215/75r16E.
