1996 Sierra a/c problem

I have a 1996 GMC Sierra 4x4, the a/c is blowing warm air, the compressor clutch is kicking in and is charged with freon. I thought the heater box might be at fault but it blows warm air even when engine is cold. Also the lines and acccumulator are very hot while air is on. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.Truck was out of service for about a year due to engine problems.

If it's not out of freon, which it doesn't sound like if the compressor is running (unless someone wired it to run regardless), then I'd say the compressor is turning but not pumping.

 

Ya need to put some gauges on the system to know a little better what's going on.
