My friend has a 99 nbs gmc 1500 and he wants to put a 1" block in the back because of the sagging caused from everything he has in the bed of his truck. Here's the question will the u-bolt off of a 3/4 ton fit on his truck. I was thinking that the u-bolts off of the 3/4 tons are longer than his bc the 3/4 tons might have a larger spring pack requiring the u-bolts to be longer. His springs are around 9 3/4" long if this helps any. Mr. :chevy: doesn't have a clue so i need ya'lls help. thanks in advance. oh and no add a leafs.

the 4x4 and Z71 trucks have a 2" lift block under the rear leafs and the longer u-bolts needed. You could get them from a dealer, or an even better price at a junkyard.
