Which Rear Axle

I'm getting ready to order 2006 Sierra 2500HD SLT Extended cab with Duramax-Allison. I noticed two rear axle ratios , which would be best for pleasure driving and a 5th wheel camper in future? Thanks

Where did you see two ratios? I could be wrong, but you can only get the 3.73 with the Dmax. The 8.1 will come with either, and the 6.0 only comes with the 4.10. I could be wrong though. If you go to GMC.com and click on build your Sierra, once you select the Dmax the only ratio available is the 3.73.

I must have read it wrong. On edmunds.com there is an option GT4 3.73 Rear Axle Ratio. That must be the only one. Thanks
