Suspension

I already asked the expert but thought if I could find some feed back here. My 2001 GMC Sierra XLT Z-71 appears to sit 1 inch lower on the left side than the right. Could this be a suspension problem? Are the shocks worn out? I have 82,000 miles on it and use it both on and off road. What are the best replacement shocks to give me a smooth on highway ride? Also what are the best tires for ride and reduced road noise?

Lots of trucks lean to one side due to the gas tank, though it wouldn't hurt to make sure you don't have a broken leaf.

Shocks don't change ride height, but at 82K the original ones are probably pretty worn. I don't know what to suggest for a good shock though.

Almost everybody swears on the Bilsteins. I just ordered a set for 2001 Sierra 2500 (Autozone.com was the cheapest).
