No audio from NAV unit in 05 Suburban

My boss installed a Touchscreen NAV in his 2005 burban and got the theftlock taken out and now he gets no audio. Any help would be appreciated.

The first thing to do is verify he has the correct NAV unit. There are two kinds, LUX and Non-LUX. If he bought a LUX NAV it will not work with his Non-LUX amp. Check the thread about installing a NAV in a Silverado (its huge, go to the last pages) and look for the correct part numbers for the Non-LUX NAV.

 

If that's not the problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,??????

may seem basic but have to start there i think. make sure in the nav settings the volume is turned up

Mine did this at first. I found that I chose the wrong wire to tap for the class II data wire. Once I changed that, it all worked perfect. I located the data wire on the C1 connector at the HU...orange wire in A1 position as I remember.

 

Did it work B4 the theft lock reprogram?
