EGR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

Service Engine light appeared on my 1992 Sierra and tells me there's a problem with the EGR system. Tested EGR valve and solenoid and they are OK and so are the lines from the throttle body to solenoid to EGR valve. I'm assuming that the manifold passages are clogged up and would appreciate some advise/instructions on how to clean them out.

I cant help you with your problem, but I would like to know how did you check the EGR valve and EGR solenoid. Whats the procedure to check this out.

My system passed the functional test so I wasn't required to complete the EGR Solenoid test.
