94 Suburban Steering Column Click

When i go either right or left across center with the steering wheel i get a click in the column and it does it every time i go past center turning right or left. Any ideas? Four wheel drive with a 350.

If you put your hand lightly on the turn signal lever, can you feel it? Only thing I can think of is something in the cancelling mechanism of the turn signal switch, but lots of things can make noises, so one guess is as good as another.

I tried the turn signal stalk and i could still feel the click but not like it was coming from that.
