i've had one for about a year now with ok results. it's nice to be able to clear codes and change minor upgrades like tires sizes and shift points. i run the 93 tune and it feels stronger expecially when towing. although i think the added shift firmness and increased shift points are what really make it "feel" stronger. this has been a very popular topic and i think it comes down to this: handheld will give you the ability to change a few parameters of you truck to you own liking and maybe a little more power. you can also de-program whenever you want in case you need to take in to the dealer or you ever want to sell and upgrade to something else. a custom tune will give you much more flexibility on what you want to change or tune. it will also give you the most performance upgrades. so i think it really comes down to personal preference.
