LT headers for 8.1l

I am looking for some long tube headers for my 8.1l but seem to only find shorties. any one know who makes them and where i can find them on the web?

I was told to go with LT's because shorties are not worth any gains. Any one have an opinion on that?

thats true about LTs they are great i think the guys over at tbybrne there a vendor on this site

stainless steel works make some sweet long tubes, you gotta cut out the pre cat on the left cylinder bank, not sure about the right, but id cut it out also if your truck is post 03

True.... but, are you drag racing the 8.1?

 

Gotta have some torque don't you? I never have seen or felt the difference. 1 7/8 primaries, true dual 3" catback droppin right off the muffler gives me the best of both worlds.

 

EDIT: If emissions were not an issue, I would eliminate the cats but still would want my Magnaflows on.

They just haven't installed them on a 01' or 02' truck yet to insure fitments. AKA they should fit.

SW seems to be having some quality control issues. Search on LS1Tech and see the pics and "reviews" Id spend my money on other headers.
