wiring trailer brake control on Kodiak C5500

I have a new 2005 Kodiak based motorhome (31' Gulfstream Conquest) with which I want to tow my enclosed race car trailer that has electric brakes. I went to install my Tekonsha brake controller, but I can't find the electric brake wiring controller in the cab area like a regular GM pickup has.

 

I found a Truck Equipment News article from back in May 2003 which discussed finding the 12 way body builder connector underneath the cab on the passenger side, but I don't seem to have one or couldn't find it in the location as suggested. Is the 2005 model different for 2003 in this regard? Can you offer any advice about where to find the wires and how to install a brake controller? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

That's good, because we don't work on Kodiak here and I have no clue.
