Exhaust Options on a 4.3

I'm curious how extreme any of you 4.3 guys have modified your exhuast.

In my Mustang days, we wanted all the airflow we could get. We put long tube headers on, installed and H or X pipe, cut the cats, and slapped some Flows at the end to cap things off.

However, with smaller motors, sometimes too much airflow can hurt you. Many vehicles require a certain amount of back pressure to run right......otherwise, it can kill your acceleration.

I'm curious if any of you have tried different headers....long tubes, or shorties, maybe an different mid pipe, and how much Flowmasters help.

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
