Well i live in wshington now and they spray this crap de icer on the road and it continues to eat my rims and truck, has anyone else had this problem and what can be sprayed on these rims to help, i recently waxe them and sprayed them down with a whole bunch of silicone

i was in washington near ellensburg last winter. my rims are pitting like crazy. of course they wouldnt warranty them. i think they are ruined. any tips or ideas? its a damn 2007 also.

Buy a set of steel rims with some winter tires.

I live in Western WA. (Lynnwood) and I haven't had any problems with my rims on any of my trucks. You live on the Eastern side? I know they sand thru the passes but I've never heard of problems with rims before.

 

Side note I use Mothers to clean and protect my rims but I'll also wash my trucks down after driving through the snow.
