fog lights, can they stay on some how ?

Might seem dum, but I that every time I shut off my truck I have to re set my fog light switch back on . Is there a way that it will stay engaged so when I restart the engine they come on with head lights ?

Is it actually foggy everyday? They are not for everyday driving cause the are anoying to the people that have to see them. Hence they would be named "driving lights" instead of "fog lights"

Driving lights are for poor driving conditions not supposed be on all the time. Consider the other drivers on the road.

im sure if you pulled out a relay and added a jumper wire they would stay on with the DRLs.

If you want them on with the headlights automatically, run a hotwire from the left parking lamp to the left fog light hot wire.

 

Whenever the headlights/parking lights are on the fog lamps are on.

I'd add a relay to that. Running two foglamps off of a park lamp wire is asking for trouble. Those foglights draw a lot more wattage than the park lamp wire is designed to handle.

 

Also I second what several other folks have said. Unless its foggy/adverse weather out, do us a favor and leave them off. They are annoying from the other driver's standpoint.

Can't stand people driving with them. Mine are always off...they only look good off.

If someone cant see your headlights they're sure not gonna see those little bastages!>

It's not running off the parking lamp hot wire. I tapped into it. It's simply a splice connecting the two together.

Fog lights are as annoying as triple posts - they just make it impossible to see other things!
