Places to play in vegas

Headin out to vegas in a week and gonna be there a week. Any recomendations on places to do some light 4wheelin? Something senic?

Anywhere around Red Rocks National Cons. Area is good stuff...lots of good stuff. Basically head south, west or north and you will find just about anything that isn't military is open BLM land that you can do trail running on. I am partial to the area around Sloan Canyon myself, it is about 10 miles south on I-15 from the southern end of the valley. Basically just pay attention to the BLM signs and don't go into the wilderness areas and you will be fine.

Hey sin. Well we got back home yesterday. I thought about pming you last week but didn't get around to it. The trip kinda turned into a bummer (for me) I just did what everybody else wanted. We had plans to head out to red rock but my GF's sis just HAD to be included in EVEYTHING. Normally not a problem, but I will never take a 4month old(her son) out in to the desert. I kinda pissed her off with the are you a dumb a$$ look while saying I'm not taking an infant out. So they went out shoppin and I sat on my butt. The we had to "babysit" wed and thrus till 6pm and I wasn't exploring at night. Do I sound pissed? Any way thanks for the offer. Maybe next time.

Well that sucks. But you were right, when something goes wrong out in the desert, that is the last place a 4 month old needs to be.

 

Give me a heads up next time you are out this way and we can do some off-roading if I am still living out here...
