Custom grille

Hope someone can point me in the right dirrection. I have seen many a GMC truck with chrome grills with round holes in them. I am looking for the same thing but in a Chevy Grille for a 2005 Silverado 1500 HD. Any one know what I am talking about?

I sure do know what you are talking about. I believe that grill is made by Putco. Below are a couple links to website I had been looking at when I was considering a grille. Then or course there is e-bay, I actually found a very unique one and decided to get it. Good luck in your search.

Yes, there is one made by Putco. It is called the Loud Mouth. It is a complete grille and grille shell. I have been looking for one for my 1500hd as well. They make them all chrome and also one with chrome trim with black in the center. There was a guy on ebay selling them for 300 bucks. Stylin is over 400, but if you do a yahoo search for putco loud mouth grille, I have seen them for 200 or so. I can't make up my mind if I want the full chrome or not, which is why I haven't bought one yet. I recently saw that another company was making a similar grille, but when I did a search for it on the internet, I could not find one. It was made by precision grilles I believe and they called it something similar as putco.

Thats the one! I see they make 2 different types, one replaces the entire grille and the other is just a top and bottom insert. I think I will go with the insert that way I can keep the bow tie and if and when I want to return it to stock I can easily. Thanks for the replies guys

Got mine from Putco. Good quality stainless, plus stainless hardware.

I like it, some peeps don't. Sorry for the cruddy pic.

That looks SWEET! Yeah that is deffinatly what I am looking for. I was dreading having to replace the entire grille but the inserts look great. Why some "peeps" don't like it is beyond me. To each his own I guess.
