JBA spark plug wires

Hey,i have a 2000 silverado with a 5.3 and i was wondering if its worth getting JBA spark plug wires or not?do you gain any performance or is it just for the looks under the hood?while im at it should i get my spark plug replaced too?the truck had 78k miles on it..thank you very much for all the help.. - Travis

If you got a stock (or near stock) truck, don't waste your money. Just get the inexpensive ones and spend your money on something else.

I bought the Taylor Pro wires from Summit and like them very much. I bought the kit for my truck and they were there in 3 days. I think it was $45.00 or so.

Exactly.

You won't see any gains by using different wires alone if your current wires are working properly.

I went with the Taylor 8mm wires 'just because'

hey,my truck has 80k miles on it should i just replace the plugs while im at it and get the wires for the looks?will it make my truck idle better with new plugs?Thanks travis Sorry for all the Questions
