Crew Cab 2 button dome light New

I bought a 2 button dome light from a NBS crew cab to install in a NBS extended cab to gain the maplights. Evidently you need to cut your headliner as it is too big to fit the opening. I did not know this so am giving up on the project because I do not trust myself with scissors.

 

The light is new and has bulbs. Comes with a piece of harness. I do not know the year. Not sure of color--definitley not for the graphite interior, maybe grey or tan--is there an inbetween 03+ color I have not seen?

I did plug it into a 99 NBS when I had the original dome light out and the dome light part worked but the map lights did not. The old light uses two wires where the crew cab light uses three so you will have to figure that out. I know it can be done, I have seen members here who have done it.
