abs trouble

i went to leave work today and started my truck. as soon as it started the antilock brake light came on and there was noise and vibration from under the truck. the noise and vibration didnt stop with the truck off, it continues and only stops when i disconnected the battery. i dropped the truck off at the dealer but they were already closed. anyway, i think is has something to do with the abs motor. has anyone experienced the same?

There has been an issue with this on the early trucks. It's not cheap, so I hope you are still under warranty. If your warranty is just over the dealer may be able to "good will" you because of the known problem.

had the same thing happen to me. noise is directly under the driver side door.abs module retails 750-900$ there is a temporary fix, reach under truck you will see a connector going into the rear of this module(2-wire ?color) unplug it .. it will stop all that noise. you will now have a non-anti lock brake truck.

it was some trouble with the abs computer or proportioning valve some crap. the guy didnt really explain it to me. anyway its been fixed...under warranty!
