Fill in the hole from tape player

Has anyone found anything that fits nicely in the hole that is left at the bottom of the console (like in my 2002 silverado 1500). Ive got a nice hole there where the tape used to be, and have an aftermarket CD player in dash. Ive thought about a brake controller, but im not going to need one of those for probably about a year.

Any ideas what to put there anyone?

I put a CB in there, It is a Midland with the removable faceplate. Works great and all I needed to do was to make the hole a little bigger.

I have a little cubby hole, got if from GM, only cost a few bucks. Perfect size for a couple pens, a calculator and even a checkbook.

You wouldn't happen to have the part# of that, would ya? After installing my new headunit, I have no need for that ugly cassette player being there.

The p/n of the storage pocket I put in mine was 15958735. Double check before you order though, GM changes their p/n's around sometimes.

Hey Tom, I put that same stuff on top of my console...Keeps my crap on there pretty good.

Yeah, that stuff is pretty good. I can lay my wallet or cell phone there, and they don't move at all.

You guys should work for friggin' NASA!!!! That is a great idea, and I have a little left over from the tool drawers to boot. No more lighter flyin' into the passengers foot well.
