Gargling Fuel Tank

Hello Everyone

I have 99 Gmc Denali 5.7 v8

I recently had to replace the lower intake manifold gaskets because it was leaking water out/in the motor,

the job was complete and seemed to go quite well,

before i did the gasket job the truck had started to run rough (lumpy) at idle and while driving at any speed, I thought that it might be from the leak, but the problem didnt go away after the gasket job so i replaced the wires/plug/cap/rotor/fuel filter/fuel pump relay

and also did the fuel pump, the gas gauge was bouncing around alot so i thought it needed doing anyway,

the only thing that changed was i can here a poping noise from the gas tank sounds like garging I can feel it in the fuel lines too

thinking i got a bad new pump i tried another new one.Same thing again.

Do you know what this could be?

Gargling sound in fuel lines?could it be sucking in air from somewhere? fuel pressure is at 60lbs with ign. on and about 54lbs at idle, needle on gauge (dash and Mechanical) does bounce around a bit

There are no check engine lights either

Thank you very much

any ideas would be great

I got her done...chalk it up to s**tty fuel pump design..Stay away from Master brand pumps..I got a Carter which was a bit more but it is literally whisper quiet..Can't even tell it is running. :crackup
