cooper tires

Does anyone have cooper Discover AT's on there truck and if yes how  do you like them and what price range can they be bought in. I've been told by a dealer that they have the old style (what ever that means ) AT's and they will sell them for $125/per tire. is that good??  anyone with pictures?

I had the Courser LT's on my '97 F250.  They were made by Cooper, and have the same trread pattern as the AT's but they were an 8-ply tire.  

 

They have alot of "siping" in them and are great in ice and rain.

 

I paid about $105 each mounted and balanced for 265/75/16's...

I had them on my 99 Dodge Ram Quad Cab that I just traded in for my Chevy. I have bought Cooper Discover tires for my last 3 trucks and Jeep Grand Cherokee. I like them alot for winter driving  and mud season in Vermont. I paid about $450 for four tires for the Dodge Ram: 265-75R16. That included mounting and balancing. I usually get around 50k miles out of them. As soon as get tired of the Firestones on the Chevy, I'll be getting another set of Coopers.

I highly recommend the Cooper tire.   Not as expensive as Goodyear or Michelin... but last plenty well.

 

I havent used the Discovery tire...I always get the P255 or P275 70 series street tire.  This generally gives you a leetle more height and a leetle more width than the stock tire and makes the truck handle really well.

 

Of course....I don't know for sure what's stock on my 2001 2wd....They might have the same tire!

I have the Cooper Discoverer STs on my Suburban.  They are great and ride nice.  A little loud, nothing too bad.  265/75R16 mounted and balanced with road hazard $438.
