i saw them on sale @ pepboys.i was wondering if anyone here ever use them?how are they ?do they shine a blue or bright white?

Please dont buy into this crap (fake xenon, plasma...whatever they call them)  Those blue blubs do nothing but decrease the visable light output and look annoying as all h*ll.  All they are is wanna be "true" HID lighting that does not work.  Keep your clear halogens....

the sylvania super whites DO work.    I couldn't see 100ft in front of me when it was dark and a wet road with the factory bulbs.

Now I can see perfectly in the rain and dark roads.

There's no blue tint at all coming from them at any angle.

I picked some up tonight on the way home.  Definately noticed the difference, now I gotta change the fogs.  I think the low beams are 55w and the highs 65w.  So since I have the 4hi kit on the lights, does that make it 120w?  They also don't have that stupid blue tint from the side angles like some ricers!

How much does the 4-hi kit help? Is it a big change?  Also where can I buy it?  I have only seen it for pre 99 trucks. thanks!

yea, the 4-hi kit is sweet an only 15 - 20 min to install.  I also have the sylvania silverstar "xeon" bulbs and this does work, honest... the light at night with hi's and low's on with the new bulbs is intense and they are a pure white color, not any white & blue  rice look.

My brother actually got mine for my birthday.  I think from stylin Concepts.  They will work with a 2001, obviously.  The only problem I had was that the wiring instrctions were backwards.  Took about 15 minutes of troubleshooting to figure out what the problem was, after that, no probs.  Really nice mod for free, or 20 buks if you buy it.

Hmm,

The ones on the right look way more intense.

I believe the ones on the right are the high beams, thus they are more intense.

Hey guys, I bought my replacement lights from www.midnightmoose.com for $15.95 a set. They are the same Xenon lights that everyone else is selling and I'm pretty happy with them. They are a truer white color and easier to see. Brightness? A little better.

If you replace your fogs DON'T GO OVER 37 WATTS!!! Let me speak from experience. Anything higher will melt them, literally.

Of course I now have the Tahoe Z71 airdam and love it. Went for aftermarket round fogs and they complete the package.
