Headlights.....brights and dims

How do I make the dims stay on when I hit the bright switch. (both brights and dims are on at the same time) I did it on my 2000 chevrolet. I now have a 2002 GMC. But I think there is a different way to do the 02. Please help!!!

www.highbeamkits.com or www.mrtaillight.com. They have the kits with the right relay and everything, and they are very easy to install. There are guys that will tell you just go get this relay and that relay, and say its super seay. I thought it easier to let someone else do the homework, and sell me a kit that works.

be careful with those kits, numerous times ive replaced the multifuntion switch in trucks with those installed because the factory wiring cant handle the added current draw and burns up/melts the connector on the multifunction switch.

I simple added a diode to my underhood fusebox per instructions http://gm-trucks.com/home/content/view/231/25/. Surely there is a similar type mod for the 2002.

You could just wrap some duct tape around the headlight stick and your steering wheel. This will hold the stick back and all your lights will stay on......
