30,000 miles on a '04 Suburban and I'd like to buy an extended warranty. From what I've read on the boards an independent one could be risky therefore I should get one from GM.

 

Assuming this is still true, where should I shop for the best price on a GM extended warranty?

Any GM truck dealer can sell you one basically so you can shop for best deal. I always get the zero deductable.

When I purchased in 04 they had the best price I could find. My local dealer was much higher but agreed to match with some sort of proof. I spoke to one of their salesmen at this dealership. VERY helpful. At least it's a starting point. Also, you can email your info and they have an auto respond that gives you a price quote. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
