2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic

I saw an ad today in my local newspaper saying they had the 2007 Silverado Classic models in. I searched on the internet and can't find too much. I found a stock photo of the base model....It looks just like the 2006 models but the steel wheels look like the 16" from the 99-04 models, but comparing the size they look like 17" wheels, and edmunds says they are 17". I guess its just a way to lead up to the 2008 models? Chevy doesn't have anything on their website. Heres the link to the picture. Its the dark red one. I found it on edmunds...and its different than the photo they had for the 2006 model.

They have the wrong wheels in that photo (The ones in that photo are the 16 inchers)

All the '05-'07's have 17" wheels as standard equipment.

16" wheels won't even fit because of caliper clearance issues.

It is the same as a 2006. Its only being called a classic because the new style will be sold as a 2007 MY. Just like the 2004 Malibu and the 2004 Malibu Classic. The only difference between a 2003 and a 2004 classic was that the 2004 said 'classic' on the trunk.

It is sad when I am driving a truck model that will have "classic" attached to it!

When I looked closer the wheels in the picture look like they could be 17" wheels though. They look bigger than the ones in the older pictures with the 16's. A local dealer has 40 in stock so Ill go compare it to some of the '06's left.....they've got 85 of those left....
