2004 Yukon XL Weird A/C problem

Having a weird problem with my A/C. Set on Auto at 73 degrees it will suddenly, and for no apparent reason, go from blowing cold air to blowing heated air. The only way I can get it to go back to blowing cold air is to turn the truck off and start it back up. Don't have to wait, just shut it down and start it back up.

 

Sounds like a electrical problem to me, but it is very intermittant, and I can guarantee it won't happen if I put it in the shop.

 

Any thoughts?

Had a Dodge car that did this but it would not go back to cold until it was ready. It was a separator door in the dash that was supposed to be closed when the A/C was on. The actuator would open it and let hot air in.

 

My guess is you problem is going to be in the same area but I am no Tech.
