Cadillac Conversion

Ok guys, either I'm just stupid or I love doing things the hard way.

 

I've got an '02 Silverado 2500HD and I've noticed that the side is somewhat bland; it's got the body color fender flares and the side panels things. I've been seein' a lot of Escalades around and I'm starting to like the styling, it's got more to it.

 

So here's what I'm thinking of doing: take a Cadillac Escalade front and rear bumper and slap em on. I think I'd need to cut and refit a section of the front bumper to clear the grille. But my biggest question is the body side panels. I finally saw an Escalade EXT?? The avalanche one, and it had panels on the doors that looked big enough to fit my doors.

 

My question is: Has anyone ever seen this before? I know there's been the front end conversions, but I'm not goin for that. Also, does anyone know where I could get the panels? I can find bumpers on eBay, but there's no fender flares or body panels. And last, is it worth it? I know it's different and I'm gonna be paintin my truck after a while, but I want it to look as stock as possible?

Hey Wingnut, I've seen those kits before but that's not really what I'm going for. I don't want the full conversion, just the lower half. I'm lookin to take the bumpers and side moldings of the later, I think it's like 02-05, Escalade ESV/EXT and put them on my truck. The bumpers probably wouldn't need much work except to clear the stock grille, but the side molding would be serious fiberglass work on the bed. Any ideas?
