Reprogram for tire diameter

Can the memory in my 06 2500HD duramax be reprogrammed for increased tire diameter. If so who and how can it be done. I do not want to increase performance so why buy a programmer. The dealer I purchased from said they cannot do it due to liability. But they add after market tires to their trucks and I am sure they reprogrammed.

A dealer can do it, but only IF the tires are a size that was available on the truck from the factory. If the tires are not one of those sizes, the dealer couldn't program it if they wanted to.
