hi, my grandson pushed a little piece of plastic down the center ac vent next to the radio,i have a 04 silverado,it hasnt started doing anything yet but im wondering what could happen and how would you retrieve the small piece of plastic, 1/4 inch by 1 inch?

It probably could jam a door, but more likely it'll just lay in the bottom of the case and not bother anything... as long as it's a thin piece and not a thick hunk.

 

It'd probably require major surgery to retrieve the piece. Personally, I wouldn't do anything unless a problem develops.
