Seat Cover

Anyone ever re-cover their seat with a factory seat cover. I just got a large tear in the seat fabric and am thinking about replacing it with a factory cover. Wondered how hard it is to do. Any input would be appreciated.

I agree. Also, if your seats don't fit you just perfectly, you can tell them to add (or take out) foam while they are at it.

A boss I had back around 2002 bought a new 2500HD Crew and the seats didn't fit him just so, so he had them add some foam in the lower portion of the vertical part and thicker foam in the seat part. I can't remember who much they charged for that but it wasn't much.

I also had the bench seats redone on my Ranger bass boat years ago. I wanted a more bucket look and feel in a flat bench mainly for running hard up rivers and needing something to hold me inplace. They added foam in the seats and recovered them for about $150 ......... of coarse I already had the Ranger Material.

Good Luck.
