Just wondering. I know certain LSx engine parts are interchangeable. Which ones? Heads? Crank? Intake manifolds? I know the 6.0l cam fits.

4.8, 5.3, 5.7(LS1), 6.0 share the same cam, manifolds are the same, cranks, TB's are the same with the exception of being cable-op and electronic, rear main covers the same, front cover is the same, heads are somewhat identical, valley cover, sensors, water pump. Alot of the part will swap.

 

LS1 guys used to take 5.3 heads and toss them on for a bump in compression. 5.3 truck guys are using LS6 Vette manifolds on their trucks. Contraty to popular belief IT DOES WORK. And depending on the setup it does in fact make more power. 6.0 truck guys are now even using the Aussie version of the L76 6.2L truck manifold for the MASSIVE intake ports and 90mm TB opening. 4" bore 6.0 guys are also using the L92 heads that flow insanely well for a GM casting. They flow around [email protected] lift.

 

The parts are out there for power hungry people!!
