'97 Blazer 4x4 and ABS problems

We have owned this blazer for almost 2 years. It has about 120K on it. Last snow season the 4x4 worked fine, when the snow started flying this year 4hi would not work. If I kept pressing the button, eventually, it would try to go, but would just jump back into 2hi. The first time I messed with it, it would go into 4lo just fine, now both the 4hi/4lo buttons light up and it kind of "hops". I assume this is the selector motor going bad? any chance it could be the transfer case? or something smaller? I tried swapping out the button unit with one I had on the shelf, and it had no effect.

Problem #2

Since the day we bought the truck, every time you step on the brake the ABS fires. Regardless of pedal pressure, speed, or the surface your driving on. We checked the codes, its been awhile, but I seemed to remeber that all wheel sensors were bad, and abs module failure. I swapped it out with a known good unit(module pump etc) and it made no diffrence. We've been driving it for the last 18 months with the unit unplugged.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks, Matt
