Ford T-bar keys

I have heard some talk of some of the guys with Ford T-bar keys. I'm assuming from some of the talk that this will raise the front end? I'm not too familiar with this procedure (if it is one). Does anyone have any info about this? I was thinking about a 3" body lift, but if I can get a little height with a torsion bar mod and maybe an add a leaf kit, maybe i'll do that. Also, has anyone does this, and how much was it? Thanks for any advice.

Ross, im not sure about the cost of the Ford Keys but I was going to get them but later changed my mind and went with the 3'' body lift. I feel that It was well worth and now with 50,000 miles on it I have no regrets. Besides, the body lift install is much easier than a t-Bar key change IMO. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I bought the ford keys from a dealership at 62.00 bucks for the pair....i'm sure you can get them cheaper on the net. Installation wasnt that bad...just need to find a big heavy duty puller. Do a search on ford keys theres alot of how to and pics of installation on this site. I added a hellwig add a leaf in the back. Truck was lifted about 2 1/2 inches. Looked great....then i added a body lift but i'm not all that happy with how much frame shows. Keys are much easier and cheaper than adding a body lift....have fun!!
