How do you lift the front end by just the torsion bars or cant I?I will be getting a 01 gmc Z71 ext cab and need to know how to lft it a little for now,cause I like to make it look higher then it is.Then eventually run some bigger tires on it as well.TIA

You tighten the adjuting bolt on the back end of the torsion bar. Measure both sides before tightening. I wouldn't go more than 1-1 1/2". You are going to be making the ride rougher by adjusting the bars. I would look into ford keys instead. They are cheap at about $50-$90 from a ford dealer. Part number - XL3Z5B328CA. don't forget aside from sacrificing ride quality, you need to attempt getting the vehicle properly aligned, gray area is by cranking up the torsion bars you are knocking your caster/camber way out of whack, maybe not able to adjust for it depending on how much you crank it up...
