I'm not after horse power or torque....

I just want 1-2 more MPG...

is there such a comuter chip that helps out with this?

I'll third the Jesse Tune. Had it in for a month now. Before in the city I averaged 12.3. Last 4 tanks I have gotten 14.9, 14.1, 14.5 and 15.2 all city driving. Haven't had a chance on the highway yet to see what that increase is.

I've been thinking about getting one of the wait4me gas mileage tunes also for my 5.3L. Did you guys loose much power by going with the fuel saver tune?

I'm thinking about getting a wait4me tune for my new-to-me Suburban. My first tank of daily driver mileage was 5.99mpg. This is running to/from work, which is 1.5 miles one-way and I only make it up to 40mph for about half a mile. I was hoping the 5.3L/3.73 would do a bit better than this, but even driving like grandpa (slow start/stops and never going over 2000rpm) didn't help. Before this, I would stomp the pedal of my 93 Caravan with the 3.3L and get 9-11mpg doing the same route.

Think a mileage tune from Jesse will help me at all, or am I just going to have to teach the wife to drive it for her longer errand trips and take her Grand Caravan away from her?
