Got the jump on the dodge yesterday

Sorry i dont have a vedio of this i know the title looks like i got some sort of footage but i dont. Anyway on the way home last night i had an encounter with a dodge cummins turbo ..deisel.super,..truck...thingy. this thing pulles up beside me and atempts to beat me to the next light in the trun lane......you know one of those lanes that end in 1500ft well i look over and see the huge bull bar staring at my hood, this thing is huge about a 6" lift and lots of bolt ons and maybe an intake and exaust.

Sounded like a Peterbuilt..lol anyway light turns grenn and we both turn and i start sliding around the turn but get to the next light before he does. Now he's pissed so now he's thinking hes got to get in front of me or his lane runs out and then he has to turn down another road. I also manage to jump in front of his big ass there too....all of this with no bottle on by the way just motor and tune. I let off the gas thinking that hes not going to make it and get stuck down this road, then decide ......nahhh...stomp on the gas and keep going....dude got stuck looking at the back of a z71 seirra tailgate ...ha haa! 40k worth of desil truck but a gmc got him. Now given the right amount of road we all know he probley would of busted my ass but he got cought with that deseil lag.........

With a 6 inch lift, that takes away A LOT of power and speed...I believe newer cummins have actuators that severly limit the amount of lag...somebody is also coming out with a sliding turbo so that there is never any lag...sounds really cool

Good kill. I love Cummins diesels though, just the way they sound, plus their bad ass. But at the end of the day, it's under the hood of a Dodge.

Yeah dont get me wrong i dont mind a desil but that was just kind of funny to me it would of been the same set up if someone with a volvo was doing the same people just under estamate a truck they think there all slow. I guess no one got the hint after ford came out with the lightning or hell, when gmc came out with the syclone.
