quadrasteer/fleetside fender

Hello again, im just looking for some advice. I have a 2000 GMC sierra 5.3 single cab w the fleetside. My friends were drunk and got carried away and one of them slammed the other onto my truck and dented it bad, including the frame rail. I stumbled upon a quadrasteer rear fender on ebay for a total of $110.00. Anyways i wanted to know hot to graft/adapt this part. Im pretty sure a collision center would know, but i wanted to ask ya'll first. Let me know what ya'll think. I want to make a single cab denali clone. Will post pics soon even if the fenders arent on yet.

If I'm not mistaken the Quadrasteer fender and the fleetside fender are two different fenders. The Quadrasteer fender bulges out to help keep the rear-steer wheels inside the fender while the fleetside fender does not. Your truck might look a little funny with one side of the box bulged out.

I would consult my friend and tell him he's paying to have my truck repaired, and have him sign an agreement with a witness present (not your wife, another friend perhaps). Then I'd probably be looking for new friends...drunk friends cost more money than they're worth.
