Air Conditioning Controls

Hello,

 

I recently purchased a 2004 GMC Sierra Ext Cab Z71 Long Bed SLE. It took me forever trying to find the interior configuration that I want which was the Captains Chairs with the center console. I have one question. My truck has the “manual” air conditioning controls with the two sliders, one for driver and one for passenger. I was wondering, could that be changed out and replaced with the “automatic” controls, with the push buttons and automatic mode. I thank you for your time and information.

Ditto here, have an '07 Classic Crew with base HVAC Controls and Radio.

 

Wouldn't mind upgrading to the digital dual climate controls and single CD/XM Ready radio.

 

Feasibility? Cost? Part Numbers?

It can be done but you basically have to re HVAC the interior. It wil be one huge PITA.
