I have been trying to find out what the ac-delco part number is for my fuel pump so I can order one on e-bay. My local dealer gave me the GM part number, but I cannot find the conversion to the ac-delco part number. I did a search for the part number on these forums, but it doesn't come up anywhere which makes me worry that he gave me the wrong part number.

2001 Chevrolet Suburban

5.3 L engine

VIN 3GNFK16T81G135338

Fuel pump

GM part (from dealer, might be wrong) 19121630

Thanks.

Hello, upon looking I noticed that there are alot of different fuel pumps for different connectors that are connected to your car.

Here is the list, along with all the different ones. I hope this helps. If it doesn't i'm sorry.

Steven,

That is very helpful, thank you so much for the link.

I'm not sure if this is the right spot, so forgive me if it isn't. I have one related question for you:

I see that there are a number of different connectors, but all of them are sold separate from the fuel pump. If they are not factory attached to the fuel pump, is there any reason why I couldn't use the connectors on the fuel pump that is going bad? Am I missing something here?

If it makes any difference, I did have a new "fuel module reservoir assembly" installed three months ago under factory recall. They told me that the assembly is basically the wiring harness.

Thanks again.

I think I understand what you are trying to say.

If you notice, each pump DOES have 1 female connector on it from the factory. It is part of the pump and cannot be removed. You have to match it with the correct MALE plug which is part of the car. The FEMALE plug is on the pump and is what needs to be matched.

here, I made a quick sketch showing what I mean: as you can see the male connector is part of the truck. this is what you need to look at in order to get the correct pump.

So take a peek under there and see which male connector you have so you can get the pump with the correct female end.

I'm sorry if this seems obvious but I'm tired and out of it tonight and i'm trying to make sense of what awake-time I have left.
